New Policy for ODSP Fireside Group on Google & call for Assistant Moderators

Effective Immediately!

Our experiment of opening up the group topic list to issues of interest to
ODSP recipients seems to be failing. We will be returning to the original
format of only approving posts dealing DIRECTLY with ODSP issues. All
Off-topic posts will be rejected.

In an effort to reduce the load on Angela we are putting out a call for
other members to help with moderating the group. For more information or to

So, I take it from that statement, that, indeed, angela is the only
one moderating the group and not as previously stated all three of
you?

Yes, I agree angela is very overworked and needs some help. I also
agree with off topic posts not being allowed, as there is a separate
site for all posts and to keep this site for questions/answers
directly to do with ODSP. I would suggest that a message put put in
with the rejection of an off topic post directing the poster to the
other site.

I have a few question though, will the mods converse with each other
regarding contentious posts, or are they all independent of each
other. And if the assistant Mods have an issue with the head Mod, can
they go to the owners of the site with legitimate concerns, or does it
stop at the head Mod?
