I've been thinking this isn't a real group for a while - same meeting
message followed by a cancellation each week. Can the leader of this group, or any active members, respond and let people on this list understand the
plan for this group going forward.
Are there really local screenwriters who would like to set up some regular
meetings?

This is a real group, but we've had attendance problems for quite a
while. The rule is that if we have less than 4 people RSVP for a
meeting, we cancel it, since we'll do a table read/critique of pages
at our meetings. Perhaps it'd be better if we switched the day of the
week we meet on, I don't know. I'm open to suggestions. Believe me,
it's frustrating to send out these meeting notices and then send out
cancellations every week (we don't schedule meetings for the first
week of each month, by the way).
I understand your frustration. Hopefully we can work together to make
this group active again.
