Hey everyone, we changed the Thanksgiving night swim to Friday night the 26th at 5 pm. I am going to see if Beth can kayak for us. We can go out for a beer on 2nd street, or warm up to a hot beverage somewhere. I'll have glow sticks and bracelets and the swim won't be long, just a fun and cold one! If you opt out to swim, bring your SUP, paddleboard, canoe, kayak and I'll be sure to get you all lit up. If I don't see you before Thanksgiving, have a great day!

so unfair...i'm stuck in the desert. good to be wtih family but I SO missed being out there on my kayak next to you guys tonight. Good job, Natalie for planning it!
Believe it or not I have been spending hours studying USCG videos about hypothermia since next time i meet with a hypothermic swimmer in the channel, I want to know exactly what to do...hope it never happens again but if it does I'll meet it head on!

Thanks for organizing tonight's group of about ten swimmers and three paddlers. Nice turnout with a good group at Bayshore after for drinks.
A few of us are doing a run, swim, run tomorrow at 6:00 at bayshore and 2nd. Coffee after at Aroma.
