We haven't selected a date, but OccuCopy has a new offset, a new digital press, new finishers, and new apprentices. With all of this, we are making an amicable departure from our home in the Brooklyn Commons, as shoreline creatures who must find a new shell. We encourage everyone who can to host regularized events at the Brooklyn Commons in order to help them along, and we'll be planning events there as well.
However, with the grand feat of moving the majority of a printshop, we'd welcome community support in the endeavor. Any of our lovely people out there who could help by volunteering, or hooking up a box truck with a lift, we would like to move at least a 500 lb. offset on wheels, and an 800 lb. digital press, among a number of other pieces. We haven't set a date yet, but the sooner the better. If you can help in this way, we will try to schedule for a time that works with you. Please contact me at your earliest convenience if you might be able to help out.
While we're at it, we also accept in-kind donations of supplies like an optimal computer screen, a membership to quickbooks, a better computer, another wide format printer, letterpress and other such supplies.

"We develop new principles for the world out of the world’s own principles. We do not say to the world: Cease your struggles, they are foolish; we will give you the true slogan of struggle. We merely show the world what it is really fighting for, and consciousness is something that it has to acquire, even if it does not want to."
