2. Outreach Booth at City Heights Farmers Market
-Free for Community Outreach, $10 for Vendors
-Flyers/Pamphlets
-Promote Education
-Community Survey White Board (How to Better the Community)
-PA System?
-Music?

3. Things to do before Kick Off Party
-Find Local Resouces
-Contact Existing Local Outreach Groups (IRC, Activist SD,
Travaling. Story, etc.)
-Outreach to Local Shops (Educate them on Occupy)
-Work on Flyers/Pamphlets w/ General Occupy Statement
-Setup Facebook Page/Group
-Contact Local Stores about Donating for OccuParty (501.3c)
-Possibly Send Articles City Heights Life (Local Newspaper)
-Contact Performance Annex Manager about Details
-Contact Town Council??

4. Walked over to Farmers Market to Talk to Manager about Booth
-Got the Ok! and Details

Next Meeting- 3/17/12 12pm at City Heights Farmers Market Booth
(across the street from park) come early to spread the word to FM
Patrons. Meeting after Closing of Farmers Market

I'm really sorry I missed the meeting, but I didn't get free until
1:15 (and I did go to the park, but didn't see anyone).

Re: Kick off date - what about 4/28?
It seem the best based on other events going on AND because it could
be dialed in with the week of events for Cultivating Food Justice
(culminating on 5/5). Unfortunately y'all didn't realize 4/14 (all
day) is the Peace Conference -- see peacebuildingsandiego.org -- which
is an event organized by good involved activists in the local area. I
know things it's hard to not overlap with one thing or another, but
let's try?

I'll do my best to be there on 3/17.
What about having the meeting DURING the market instead of after? And
fyi, the market tends to be most busy during the first half (9-11). At
least that was my experience when I worked there the first year and a
half. Maybe it's been there long enough now that it's busy all day! ;)
