Great news on Montana Abolition Coalition ... definitely people I'd love to know ...

Occupy Bozeman meetings are from 6:30-8:15 at the Bozeman Yoga Center, which is at 1716 West Main Street, Suite 8A1 - it's across the street from Safeway ... near the American Bank, east of 19th Ave.  It's in a little business area.  The entrance is near Babcock.  Enter the doors, follow the signs down the stairs ...

Brilliant Gang that is Awesome! Thank you so much for all your hard work and effort. I really think that this team is going to make this a great event. I also want to state that I really do not want HIH to over ride the Indy Media work and that it is important that you guys take as much space for it as needed. I am so excited and grateful to be collaborating with you guys and really appreciate your response to Here is How. I would also really like to attend the Occupy Bozeman meeting tonight and get to know the group there. Though I need to find out what time and where. I also wanted to share one good piece of news in that the Montana Abolition Coalition (for abolition of the death penalty) has agreed to collaborate with us on HIH. Alright gang, in solidarity with all - Alex

Hey everyone,

Marshall was just over here, and I trained him somewhat in Drupal.  We successfully installed Drupal into the website, several modules, and a theme - you'll notice the crude not-yet-started beginnings at http://hereishow.rockymt.org.  Marshall will take the first crack at building the website, and he hopes to have a functional draft at next week's meeting.  I will assist him as needed.

As for the agenda, we would like to add an agenda item on some basic discussions of design.  We have thought of a few ways the front page might be better, but we could use help with the layout (and of course the logo) so that we can build the design from that.

We should also have a moment in the agenda to consider any indymedia business.  I don't have anything that should take more than a minute - just updates on site maintenance and use.  We need more content.

I'm glad Marshall is learning this because it will also help with the indymedia site, also a drupal-based site.  We need to diversify our skills, and so from working on a simple site like this, we'll become less dependent on me to keeping the site going.

By the way, we'll be sharing hereishow formally at the Occupy Bozeman meeting tonight, and so we'll be able to update you on that.

Alright Gang,
I am attaching the minutes from last weeks meeting and a preliminary agenda. It was just a few things that I thought needed to be discussed but please add any issue that you feel is relevant. All the best - Alex

Alright Jim,
Looks really good. I was thinking it would look cool if we could put the outline of the mountains from Stephens images behind the Bozeman in your adaptation. I am attaching the templates (in multiple form) along with a call to artist statement. I am working on a proper information package. Again thanks for all the great work and I can't wait to see everyone on thursday.
                       Cheers - Alex

I tried my hand at a couple adaptations of the original logo ...

I think that gets at what I was imagining when I brought it up at the meeting ... I think I like logo 2 better but thought I'd share both efforts.  Perhaps, someone can tweak them to make them just a little better.
