Here comes the warmth and wind! Along with a switch on Sunday back to
cool NE.

Any weekend "Hatteras Hall Passes" issued?!

I'm guessing overhead and sloppy by early afternoon. Stuart said he
saw a pretty well defined bar ~1/2 mile north on ramp 34. If the wind
stays SSE, north of the Avon Pier could be pretty good too. I'm not
sure about ego beach or old road or old lifeguard beach after that
last swell... Time to do some checking I guess...

Hi all.

Its still SE at 9:00 and the waves look choppy and unorganized down here by the lighthouse.

Just sailed the hole, pumping a 5.2 but planing... Ego beach is all
shorebreak, but there are definitely some waves... I'd say shoulder
to head high and dumping, 10 yards off the beach. Just north of the
hole the outer bar was fizzling but ugly/no shape...

Ok, I am heading out now... Will check all the northern sites as I
head south! South swell and S to SSW wind at Coquina can be quite the
setup?!

Bill's making it sound like Coquina beach is the place to be! Look
for the windmill just to the north of Oregon Inlet, turn right down a
sandy road 1/8th of a mile north of the windmill. Take a bottom turn
for me!
