That storm surge pic is from Cottage Ave off of Old Lighthouse Rd in Buxton.
If you look close you can see a brand new Hummer sitting waiting to get hit. The owner left this brand new hummer and also a brand new Jaguar sitting.....they were both completely washed in the surf and buried pretty deep in sand. They hauled the Jaguar away yesterday...I have some pics of the hummer buried in the sand and will send them out when I have a better internet connection. Cable is down here so I'm using the dialup.
Hey, a few of us had a really great time at the hole on Friday and Sat. Friday was 4.0 - 5.0 & Sat was 5.0 - 5.5. Myself, Dave Coe & Tony from Ontario took a nice long ride out past the channel markers.....nice waves.

food lion has no bread or milk or veggies. all sold out.
hey where was that spot in mauil you told me that you liked to launch from.. can you show me on maps google ? or draw a stick map?
i'm going on Jan 20th for 19 days . martine and I are going .
dennis parton of Tectonics Fins bought me and her tickets out.
i'm going to update 2 of his cnc machines while I'm there.

Here is the spot on Google Map:
Note, you can park and launch from the beach next to the Blue Tile house
(lower center of Google Map image), then the break is one tack upwind to
the point break which is the west end of Lanes... You will see it.
There is a more popular parking/launch spot just out from the break, but
the rocks are bad along with parking, and I am not really sure why
everyone launches from there. I guess at the Blue Tile beach launch,
the wind is shadowed and you have to swim your gear about about 20 yards
to hit the wind line. Quite easy though with our light air experience here.
All in all, luck dog!! : ) I was just telling Lauren, we need to go
back out there again soon. Felt like it was going every year for a
while there, but now we have not been there since 2006! Check this <a

cheap eat if you hit West Maui during your visit.
