Pleased to report that there that the only ice at Windmill Point
yesterday was in the bar across the street. Crystal clear skies, 60
degrees, 15 - 25 from the SW..........about as good as it gets in
January. Today looks great again.............if a little (a lot!)
cooler. Looks like we may be able to get some sailing in during a snow
storm tomorrow..............that's always an interesting experience!!

Yeah, that SW day was awesome! 4.7 then 4.2 down here. Glad you
caught it up north!

The Lighthouse was great yesterday, and not too big considering how
windy it was, so I'm going back for more today! I'd love some company
out there... Stu's out of town, anyone else game for a sesh?

I'm too old/ too much of a pussy to go in the ocean when it's as cold
as it has been the past couple of days. Oh, and by the way, we have
2-3 inches of snow on Roanoke Island (another first for me). I'm
waiting for the wind to clock round to the North before heading to
WP.........too much East at the moment.....supposed to be 30 - 40 this
afternoon. I'm guessing I'm going to be solo too unless Bill wants to
break his 100 rule! Yesterday was nice again.................and even
though my truck gauge was reading 32 when I got out it wasn't bad at
all.............had two hours without any warm ups.

Yea, I am actually tempted to go south if the warm water is still hitting the southern beaches.  Perhaps there is some wrap down there now?!  Wouldn't it interesting to be sailing in near 70 degree water with near freezing air temps?!  Getting working in the rinse would actually feel quite nice!
