Any update on the performance of our two Metro law enforcement
officers? I hear their performance has been so poor that Obsid has
asked to be relieved of their services!
This is what it says on the obs.org.za website:
We welcome our two Metro Law Enforcement Officers – Nobuntu Makamba
and Zolisa Libazi. Councillor Thomas has secured their services free
of charge at this stage, and we are very grateful for that.
They are supervised by Inspector Wally Panday who will serve as our
link through to Metro Law Enforcement and their specialised units
tackling drugs, displaced people and moving traffic offences.
They will be involved in enforcing Metro By-Laws such as street
trading, public misbehaviour, noise and stationary traffic offences
such as parking, missing number plates and expired licence discs.
