Can anyone tell me what that continual (awful) noise is? It sounds
like a loose fanbelt, persisted the entire weekend, and was still to
be heard when I left for work this morning... Slow, painful torture at
it's best!

Oh dear! Where are you in Obs? I heard a very loud drumming noise
coming from the old Heidelberg building in Station Rd when I walked
past it last night. Could that be the slow torture you speak of?
