Vegetable allotments now available

obsid recently obtained permission to use a vacant plot between Molenviet Rd and the freeway for vegetable allotments. We have 8 large allotments available - each one being 3m by 9m which is twice the size of the average in the UK. With the rains now upon us its the time to start growing your own veggies. This is especially aimed at obs residents who do not have gardens, so if you are interested please contact me, preferably be email, as soon as possible to book one. There will be a nominal joining fee of R50 to cover some start up costs and thereafter it's over to you to produce as much as you can, but not for profit. One tenth of what you produce will be given to obsid for distribution to the shelter for homeless people. The only other rule is that you must use permaculture techniques. I estimate that each taker would need to spend a few hours once a week at the plot.
