Cappuccino and the iPad

Hi everyone,

just for fun I tried to launch a cappuccino application in the iPad
simulator and ... it works!

Not so sure that it will work on the actual device, but it certainly
is fun.

What do you mean with this ?

Fill the entire screen ?
Or create a Link on the Home Screen ?
Or Something Else ?

Hi Randy,
the truth there is no problem. Everything works great :D . My Mail is
maf...@gmail.com, the same like here.
There are only some display problems, but i think that`s a problem in
cappuccino, because the same failure is in many Cappuccino Apps and
Mobile Safari. There are on some windows and in the menu, small white
stripes.

There are a number of iPhone applications that are secretly just an UIWebView.  At least in the last SDK you need to do a little change to avoid bounce scrolling, but you could literally write a Cappuccino iPad app in minutes -- assuming you already had the Cappuccino web app ;)

Yes, my app has a similar bug. It seems the 9-part background images end up with 1px gaps between their segments.

This is due to the zooming. If you zoom in more than 100% these white
stripes appear. I think there's no workaround unless you overlap the
parts by 1px.
