We have gone ahead and tagged the first Release Candidate of 0.8. The
tag is available here:

http://github.com/280north/cappuccino/tree/0.8.0-RC1

And we are now going to be placing RC fixes into this branch:

http://github.com/280north/cappuccino/tree/0.8.0

Please begin testing your existing projects against 0.8. We would like
to have as many people with public applications switched to 0.8 as
possible, and to ensure that we can do that we need to catch any bugs
or regressions.

If you do encounter any problems, please file a bug and go ahead and
post here as well.

Thanks!

Francisco

Just pushed a new tag. This fixes a few bugs with RC1:

1. Could get multiple callbacks when loading a bundle.
2. Spurious import of non-existent AppKit/CPData.j
3. Classes declared in files that are in subfolders would report the
wrong owning bundle.
4. args and named args stopped being passed to the application.

And we also added one additional feature: better versioning for
cappuccino. You can now do

capp --version or objj --version and it will not only tell you the
version you are running, but the exact build and date it was created.
That way we can more easily help people when they report problems.

Make sure to update and test!

Francisco
