Take a search through the recent archive for similar issues, it's an
embedded font thing.

Hiya !

I tried doing that too. If i apply border to the image it does not
apply border at all. Any other alternatives please ?

I have a one textarea ,that is place inside Canvas.

Now that whole object is placed inside objecthandles.

while rotating objecthandles then text disappear inside teatara

I have successfully embedded fonts, though I agree it was a pain in the
butt. It was not intuitive at all. Fortunately, a Flex genius I know helped
me figure this out. Here is how I did it:

1. I created an individual SWF for each TTF file where the font file is
embedded. You can download a zip file of them here:

You need to embed the bold, italic, and bold/italic font as well.

Here's the css for one of my projects:

@font-face{
font-family: "MainFont";
src: url("assets/common/fonts/Verda na.ttf");
font-weight: regular;
font-style: normal;

Hi Guys ,

I am trying to apply border to object handles with image as a child.
The border is not applied properly, my image shrinks and the border is
applied outside the handle !

The code is like this

Get the Text* controls textfield and modify accordingly. (Sniff the source
of the RichTextEditor control to know how to do this.)

Yes I am using embedded fonts only. But the problem is that it doesnt
work if I apply fontWeight or fontStyle to it.
