I prefer Komodo (Win/Mac/Linux). It supports FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and SCP.
There is on-the-fly syntax checking, call-tips, and context sensitive
auto complete. You can also extend it via macros/plugins written in
Python or JavaScript.
7.x will support Sass and LESS. There will be also some kind of
pluggable syntax checking, which could be for example be used to run
CSS Lint or other tools.
I do prefer somewhat heavier tools for this. If I'm using it for
several hours in a row, I don't mind if starting takes a few seconds
longer.
Sublime does look like a great default text editor though. I.e.
something for quick edits, changing some config file, readmes, and
things like that.
