When thinking on row level security, the strategy would be to collect the user position and then filter the facts by that position.

It just happens that Positions (in Siebel) are an hierarchy... and we have it defined in the rpd model. So the requirement is that if the user logged has a position like ManagerA he would need to see the FactActivities connected to all the positions that are 'under' him.

We also have a DimPositionDH which has all the position hierarchy flatned up to x levels. It is basically the DimPositions but with several columns indicating the hierarchy or flatten it.

Pls. any suggestion on how to implement this record visibility ?
