I've never had to do them in OBIEE before (actually haven't done CI's since stats class using Fortran in school!)
So I couldn't tell you within OBIEE. But for advanced statistical packages, have you ever looked into Oracle R? I think I once heard Jordan Meyer from Rittman Mead say "R can do anything!" :)
He's done lots of work with integrating R calcs/packages with OBIEE. Maybe if he sees this thread he can give you an idea.
