One of my action items following this morning dev call is to check
with you what remains to be done regarding the Namespace policy
discussed at the workshop.
Shall we consider the presentation as guidelines or are you writing an
other document?
Thanks,
Melanie

I guess we need to write up something so it can go on the website. I'll
put together something based on the slides and find a place on the wiki.
The whole thing reminds me that I also need to touch base with you and
Alan regarding the modification to lisp script that produces the obo file.
Currently, the reference to MSI/SEP look like this:
[Term]
id: OBI:X400246
name: tecmag NMR console
def:"An NMR console manufactured by tecmac."
[GROUP:<HTTP://msi-ontology.sourceforge.net> , MSI:400246
"http://msi-ontology.sourceforge.net/ontology/NMR.owl#msi_400246"]
is_a: OBI:X400015 ! NMR console
In order to be visible from tools such as OLS, it would need to be like
this:
[Term]
id: OBI:X400246
name: tecmag NMR console
def:"An NMR console manufactured by tecmac."
[GROUP:<HTTP://msi-ontology.sourceforge.net> , MSI:400246
"http://msi-ontology.sourceforge.net/ontology/NMR.owl#msi_400246"]
=> xref_analog: MSI:400246
"http://msi-ontology.sourceforge.net/ontology/NMR.owl#msi_400246" <=
is_a: OBI:X400015 ! NMR console
=> add an xref_analog tag:
Thanks for the help.
