Bachelor's degree from accedited institution;
5-7 years of experience in I.S and/or I.S. security technologies and systems;
General understanding of the 10 Information System Security domains in the Common Body of Knowledge for CISSP and the 5 Information Security Practice areas and tasks for CISM; Possess industry I.S. security certification such as CISSP or CISM or be actively pursuing a certification with a timeline to achieve; Demonstrated ability to provide support and analysis of end user computer systems; Understanding of I.S. security methods and techniques of computer systems; Understanding of I.S. security incident management processes and methods; Commitment to the core mission of healthcare and Intermountain's values from an I.S. security perspective; Ability to analyze and document processes and work within a quality improvement environment;
Be available to work periodic On-call shifts in a 24x7 support environment;

Preferred skills:
Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Assurance/Business Information Systems/Information Security; 7-10 years of experience in I.S and/or I.S. security technologies and systems; Possess industry I.S. security certification such as CISSP or CISM; Demonstrated ability to function in the support and analysis of end user computer systems; Hands-on I.S. security and I.S. technical experience in a healthcare organization; Understanding of HIPAA, PCI, HITECH Breach, SOX, GLBA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, eDiscovery Laws, State Security Breach Laws, and JCAHO; Understanding of workstations, server, application and network device security methods and techniques; Understanding of I.S. security vulnerability and intrusion detection/prevention assessment tools and techniques; Understanding of log analysis and correlation preferred; Understanding of Windows operating systems and other OS platforms (AIX, Unix, Linux, IOS); Understanding of I.S. security for internetworking protocols, platforms and devices such as IP, firewalls, servers, routers and switches helpful; Understanding of web architectures (i.e. web and web application servers and presentation vs. application layers), experience designing and developing web systems and applications, and understanidng of programming lanuages helpful; Understanding of healthcare systems and data for a large, integrated delivery system including health plan systems, acute and ambulatory systems, ancillary systems, interfaces, and financial systems helpful. Be a self-starter and fulfill project tasks with minimal supervision; Presentation skills and the ability to work well with others, directly and indirectly, including end users and supervisors/managers a plus.
