Seeking an engineer for a contract paying up to 50/h for a DOD position in Layton, UT.
Ideal candidates would additionally have expertise in development and modifications to the product simulation and networked environments.
If selected candidates would provide software design inputs for F-16 TS (simulation) change or modification utilizing ISO, SEI and IEEE standards for software development IAW existing engineering plans and processes. Performs software engineering activities for development, coding, troubleshooting, documentation and test of software modifications. Interfaces with other engineering task team members to define requirements and approach. Prepares and makes presentation of technical data reviews. Reports to the F-16 TS Project Manager.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with a thorough understanding and four years minimum experience with simulation systems real-time software. Must possess a good working knowledge of software operating systems, to include Windows, UNIX, Linux, Ada, C, C++, and Fortran, graphics development systems such as OpenGL, and GLStudio, plus Configuration Management system techniques with ClearCase, ClearQuest preferable.
