Place your bets on the outcome of the lawsuit!
(Also, add your comments on the issue.)

Hopefully this nudges Google into supporting other languages officially for development on Android.

I bet it drags on for years, ultimately ending in a mysterious
settlement without resolving anything.

Here's a link: http://www.scribd.com/doc/35810897/Oracle-Google-Complaint

Also... apparently google took Oracle out of their database for a few hours: http://www.ipwatchdog.com/2010/08/13/google-briefly-punishes-oracle-by-removal-from-google-search/

Also, I read on hacker news that Oracle is also ending opensoleris: http://www.itworld.com/open-source/117363/friday-13th-part-ii-oracle-officially-ends-opensolaris

I'm sure Google will win.
Here is one of many links I have come across. I'm not sure if you have a preference as to where sources come from, but here it is:

I might be mistaken, but I thought Oracle is one of those sue happy companies that like to sue everyone and their dog because they hold the patent to breathing. Am I thinking of another company?

personally, I'd just write a byte-compiled version of python (as opposed to this wtf-compiled version that doesn't seem to quite count in anyone's minds but that appears to be byte-compiled to me).
