Hi Joe I was just wondering if you have been getting my emails? Let me know of a good email address to get a hold of you. I set up the demo night for A game of thrones on the 23 of may from 5:30 to 8:00. I hope to see you there. It will be at the End Zone game store in Clearfield. It is just off of main street next to a bunch of buildings in the Clearfield city office buildings. Thanks and talk to you later.

Oh hey, sorry about that. Not trying to ignore you. Sometimes my gmail gets pretty full. That sounds like fun. If I'm not working, I'd like to check it out. It's possible I'll be working on base by then and so I'm not sure what time frame I'd arrive. Still, late is ok rather than not showing up. :) I marked it on my calendar.

Sorry for being off topic, but this group is a little relevant to the
topic...

For a while now I have considered starting a group for table-top style
gamers in this area (by table top I mean "not computer"). Logan has a
gamers club, and SLC has a gamers club, but davis/weber does not.

Anybody interested? I used to run the logan club for a few years.

Thoughts on a name, interchange 'Northern Utah' (not so keen considering
its not cache valley, which is technically northern utah), or 'Davis and
Weber area DW'. Then something else like:

GS: Gaming Society
GG: Gamers Guild
PG: Paper Gamers
TTG: Table Top Gamers

So: NUGS, NUGG, NUTTG, or DWGS, etc.

Or just call it the 'paper gamers society' or some such and put the
region in the description.

Anybody interested? Other suggestions?

What I'd like to do is arrange a quarterly meeting somewhere where we
can all meet, demo games and play. With Mountain Con coming to the
Davis convention center it also gives us an opportunity to help run the
gaming there as well. I personally look at it as a great opportunity to
meet other gamers in the area, spread the gaming circle, so to speak :)

I am always interested in playing games. As you can see from the previous email I am trying to get A Game of Thrones collectable card game started here in Davis County. I am up for anything though heroclix, Halo clix, D&D minis, D&D, Axis and allies minis as well as any card or board game works for me. I like to try new games that are out there as well. Count me in. As far as a name I will have to think about it.

I've never tried D&D the board game. The closest is Neverwinter Nights. Oh wait, I think I did play a game of Axis and Allies minis with a friend. That does sound familiar. Aren't those the spaceships or whatever? Anyhow, I'd love to try D&D.
