FFA is seeking judges for an impromptu speaking contest, THIS Thursday, March 14th, at Ky State University. I think this is a regional contest.
You do not have to be an expert, just be able to tell if the teen has some competence in the topic area and is a good speaker and conveys the message well. There will be a judges’ orientation at 8:30am at Bradford Hall on KSU campus. The competition will run til approximately 12-ish. The topic areas are Turf, Fruit/Veg, Greenhouse, Floral, and Nursery. They will welcome anyone who is willing (Master Gardeners, professional hort/landscape, Garden Club, etc).
