Hi,

I'm just starting with O3D (I usually work with Shockwave3D), and I'm
no 3D artist - so please bear with me if my question seems stupid to
you :-)

"My" 3D artist gave me a collada file, exported from Maya. I finally
managed to convert it to o3dtgz and import into an O3D scene. But the
original Maya file uses cloned shapes, so half of my model (the
clones) is invisible (due to flipped normals?), or rather visible from
the wrong side - and also appear black (without the shader info).

How can we get around that problem? Un-clone the models in Maya?
Somehow edit the collada file before conversion? Somehow edit the
converted binaries? Do some JS-magic after loading the models into
O3D?

Any hints welcome! :-)

Regina
