Hey all,
I just thought it would be worthwhile to prod everyone to nominate
your favourite New Zealand free and open source story. A nomination
would be a great way to recognise the contribution of someone who has
made a impact on the world. Making them embarrassed by getting them
stand up in front of a room full of clapping seems like a handsome
reward. More seriously, the Kiwi Python community is the source of
several interesting projects. It would be great to publicly thank
people for all of the effort they're putting in.
There are several categories this year for different areas:
government, business, education, the arts, science and social
services. There are also categories for outstanding individuals and
projects.
