Hello everybody,

We are looking for a .nz domain provider which offers Whois privacy!

Anybody know of one or if it is legal on .nz domain names?

Thank you!
Daniel

Good summary lenz.

BTW: Getting huge amounts of spam from your registration details is a
bit of a myth. I have .nz, .uk and .com domains registered with my
real name and street address and get very little extra spam on the
email address I use for registrations than I do on my normal email
addresses.

I do get some targetted "We have just registered this off-spec domain
name that's similar to yours would you like to buy it" type ones, but
these are low volume.

If you're really worried there's no rule that says you can't have a
seperate mailbox for domain registrations, as long as you check it on
a regular basis. You need to check so you don't accidentally let the
domain name expire or miss important notices.

Personally I think it's a good idea to have a registration and
administration email on a different domain name (e.g. gmail) so if
something goes wrong with the domain's registration, hosting, or DNS
you've still got a funtional email address pre-registered for
communicating with your provider.
