Stalled SSL Connections
|
| |
I saw a post about this earlier, but there was no resolution. I
thought I'd bring it up again since it's giving me problems too.
When I set nzbperl to use SSL, it would download a segment on each
connection and then stall. When I quit, I got a segmentation fault. A
little googling told me that NET::SSLeay isn't threadsafe, so I set... more »

ssl connections stall, disconnect and the nzbperl quits
|
| |
My news provider is hitnews and I getting this problem with ssl :
During the first minutes the download is ok but afterwoards the
connections' speed drop to zero. Then the connections close and
nzbperl quits.
Is it related to the provider ?
Is my download machine too slow (p2 433 with 320 Mo RAM) ?... more »

contrib: nzbperl-postnzb
|
| |
Hi all,
Incase anyone finds this interesting, here's my postnzb script. Right
now it just unpacks multipart RAR archives and deletes PAR2 files
(granted it would be more useful if it actually verified the par2
files). If anyone wants to implement other file formats i'd gladly
accept patches.... more »

Over 16 connections stalls
|
| |
Hi!
I'm having a really strange problem. I've used nzbperl on Ubuntu
Gutsy Gibbon (7.10) without any problems. I've recently upgraded to
Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04), which is still in beta. Anyways, here's
the strange thing. If I set the max connections to 17, nzbperl runs
through the logging in section, and when it gets to the GUI-ish type... more »

Can't find a valid termcap file at /root/nzbperl.pl line 39
|
| |
Hello,
Nzbperl runs great on my Ubuntu 7.10 laptop, but on Debian Etch I get:
...Can't find a valid termcap file at /root/nzbperl.pl line 39
I'm connecting to the Debian box via SSH. I tried the suggestions in
this post: [link],
but my ncurses-bin is at the latest level yet I still can't run... more »

Suggestion: set SO_KEEPALIVE on socket
|
| |
For some reason, connections to my NNTP server often hang. The
connections aren't close or reset, they just hang: nzpberl will
sit there forever with what it thinks is an "open" connection
that has a 0bps tranfer rate. As a result of this, I regularly
had to stop nzbperl and restart it.
To solve this problem, I've added code to set the keepalive... more »

Bug: check for existing file
|
| |
If the truefilename consists a bad character, then uudeview renames the file. For instance if the file name contains a question mark, then the question mark is replaced with an underscore in the file name when uudeview saves it to disk. But the nzbperl check to see whether the file already exists on disk looks after... more »
