I trust you will realise that there is a historic Protestant orthodoxy
that long predates the movement known as 'Christian Fundamentalism' and
indeed deplores many of the shallow, simplistic, and ultimately unbiblical
interpretations these groups have unfortunately popularised as being the
teachings of God's Word.
I suggest Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion as a good place to
find the basic understandings of historic Protestant thinking.
