It depends what you are looking for:
This may help:
Go to www.cuisine.co.nz.
Look in the Restaurant Guide.
Of course.
I am sure there is a list of Hamilton eateries on the net, otherwiswe Nate
can try the tourist information centre.
The best source of info however are the locals!

Riverside pub, Thursday nights.
You can't move for pensioners because it is schnitzel night, but two people
can eat and drink themselves to oblivion for less than $20.
The other pub has a similar deal, is a little more expensive, but has a
better range.

Tailem Bend.
It is in South Australia. I have just returned from a holiday there.
The OP didn't specify *where* he wanted to eat out...

When in Auckland, we always try to get into Soul Bar & Bistro in the
Viaduct Harbour for their seafood. A consistently excellent standard
for both food and service and reasonably priced, IMO. We've been there
probably ten times over the past few years and have never been
disappointed. Not cheap, but considering the standard, certainly value
for money.

Q: Why do some people top-post?
A: Because they are REALLY STUPID!
Q: Why do some people cross-post?
noodle canteen @ 5xroads is a good place for takeout. Very good noodles.

Great Taste.
Far too popular to give location.

most of them are in and around the CBD ... plus if you've got anything
to add, or if you don't like any of the current listings.. you can
edit it youself... 'cause it's a wiki after all.

Judging by the sudden upsurge in messages on the <Hamilton> group,
someone has discovered cross-posting!
There's nothing quite like a cold mouse on the river bank on a foggy
