Hello! My name is Claudia Mulcahy. I am a graduate student at
San Diego State University in the Rehabilitation Counseling
Program, with an emphasis in Deafness (RCD).

I am exploring internship opportunities with people having
disabilities, or Deaf/hard of hearing individuals in New
Zealand.

If you know of any internship opportunities, or contacts with
the disability or Deafness realm in New Zealand, I would
appreciate hearing from you!

Prior to my graduate studies in the RCD program, my background
was in physical rehab.- primarily working with people having
spinal cord injury. I am interested in assistive
devices/technology and in educating people (both with and
without disability) about the abilities that still exist after
a physical trauma. I am open to other opportunities as well. I
am looking for an opportunity to learn, exchange ideas, and be
part of a creative team at my inernship site.

I am responcible and reliable. I have, and value integrity. My
vita is attatched in hopes it will help you understand my
background. I look forward to receiving any help re: contacts
for an internship site.

Thanks so much for your time and effort!

Sincerely, Claudia Mulcahy
