Because of a recurrence of his "flu"

Shouldn't he be the person least frightened of letting nature take it's
course? Although consent may well not be an issue here.

Who gave the Pope the tracheotomy???

I spent a spell in hospital some years ago and a Dr. asked me." What is the
difference between God and a Dr? God don't think he's a Dr."

Speaking medically now, there are very few frail Parkinsonian 84 year
olds that would be given a tracheotomy in this part of the world or the
UK. It would be thought a cruelty in their last days.

Who are the buggers that keep pushing this poor old man to live, rather
than letting him go to the place he's worked towards his whole life?

One of the worlds most driven communicators will find it hard, having no
voice.

Thinking as one does most days.

Dear doctor. Thank you for seeing Mr Wojtyla.
He needs urgent assessment and readmission. He has increasing stridor
and upper airway obstruction.

He is and 84yr old bachelor who lives in a hostel for men.

He was recently admitted with a chest infection, off legs and not coping
at home.
He has again become SOB again, with crackles in both bases. Increasing
stridor.
He also has terminal Parkinson's and OA.
A list of 16 meds is attached from the computer, some of which he still
takes.

Yours....

Turning to modern medicine for help instead of to God, doesn't seem to be
very fitting for any real Pope to be doing.

From a commentator on CNN this morning....

"the Pope wont 'retire' or give up his position because he believes that god
saved him for greater things in the failed assenation attempt in 1981, and
only god can tell him it's time for him to move on to greater things. (die

IOW he's pope until his death, and he cant die until god thinks he's
finished his 'work' on earth....

suffer.

Is he staying in one of Mother T's hospices in a third world shithole
while nuns pray for him rather than give him proper medical treatment?
Or in a modern Rome hospital looked after by surgeons and teams of
nurses, specialists, and modern hi-tech medical equipment?

But we mortals cannot comprehend the divine plan, so it is futile to
ask! That's what I got told when I asked such questions in early
childhood. Maybe that's why priests don't talk religion with me -
always other topics instead.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: what if God put the Pope into this
situation to stimulate the next medical advance? It's evident now that
sacred scripture doesn't work for that kind of teaching.

Well said sir. I find it sad so many actually believe in these imaginary

The pope is simply a fool who believes in fiction to the point of wasting

Intolerance is the art of selectively controlling the masses. This pope
chappy should be executed for the amount of disharmony he creates.

I can't stand the wanker Tamaki. He abuses his children for money.

What is your reason for so blindly believeing whatever you read? God?

I suspect my dear RedBaitor that you have severe problems in life. If this
is the level of oyour communication abilities then I think it proves there
can be no Gods.

I will pray with you if you wish.

Goodness old chap! You have summed it up in one post. I feel this
RedBaitor character has such a sad life he tries to be "iconic" in these
messageboard postings. How else would such a poor excuse for a human animal
get his jollies?

All very sad really.

Could you please send me one of those new dictionaries you must
have? I would have thought executing Tamaki because you dont
like what he has to say is a little bit closer to being
intolerant...But then again doesnt really seem like logic is
your strong point!

You make a wide assumption there. If you could stick to facts and not wild
nonsense it may help you follow what is actually being said.

Could you show us all where I suggest executing Tamaki? I said re the pope
NOT Tamaki. If you need to alter what is said to make an intelligent post
then you have failed at even that.

If you wish to respond at least respond with facts of what is said not
skewed to something different.

Gosh, such slow minds in a msg group do nothing.

Also I have not commented at all about my tolerance / intolerance, only that
of the pope. I happily admit I will not tolerate those who abuse others.

It would seem rather obvious that you need to get the life. I realise you
have thinking problems and can only try and make a name for yourself with
such rude nonsense but we can all see right through it my dear chap.

I can recommend some good mental health self help outfits for you if you

Maybe he liked church until he was molested. Why do you have single

stands.
