The test will use your answers to tell you what your religion is, or at
least that which best represents your POV.

Very interesting quiz, but I hadn't heard of a couple of the preachers.
Whoever designed the quiz assumed that those taking it believe in a God.

I came out Classical Liberal, but I think I'm really agnostic, except around
Christmas, when I like to believe the lot.

88% Emergent/Postmodern, but it's a fundamentally buggered test as it
starts with the assumption that there IS a god. Maybe there is, but I
want some proof. A nice corpse-revival or parting-the-ocean demo would
do it for me.

As usual, I found myself answering quite a few of the questions with
the middle of the road response, because the questions themselves could
be taken in more than one way or needed qualifiers.

But it is interesting. I agree that it assumes one is a believer, and
it also presupposes that people have an understanding of terminology --
i.e., justification by faith. I thought it was fun to take.

I came out 82% neo-orthodox, which doesn't surprise me.

Well, I did have a strong "disagree" or "agree" in many cases, but
maybe in 20% of them, nothing fitted, so I went down the middle on
those, hence the fundamentally buggered observation.

That was interesting. I enjoyed reading the responses from other posters.

I, um, am emergent/postmodern.

I don't like the term fundamentalist. I prefer the word literalist.

I look forward to the time when both radical and fundamental
changes are made to the way we view faith.

Not very cosmopolitan. More like bible-centric/-skeptic outlook.

Now for the Islamo version. See which of *this* you agree with:

http://www.faithfreedom.org/Quran.htm

(tee hee hee)

Funny how atheists are preoccupied with The Bible. One keeps waiting for them
to get around to the Buddhist scriptures (a la Monkey, remember that?), the
Koran, "....and all kinds of shit you ain't never heard of". (tee hee) What
losers. These are the same idiots who fail to recognise the nature of Islamo
fascism. Funny, that. Their judgment is clearly F0RKED by specicious and
anti-Semitic religious PREJUDICE.

But unless that is what you believe you might just as well, for the
purposes of the test, assume the persona of a Brian Tamaki clone. The
trouble with the test is that its designer does not appear to have
considered that there are people for whom the only conceivable box to
tick, for all the questions, would have to be "irrelevant" or perhaps
"unworthy of being taken seriously".

Ditto. Anything that says God/religion etc is important gets a strong
disagree. Anything putting people ahead of fairy tales gets a
positive reaction. Anything which gives you two choices that are both
ludicrous, go down the middle.

82% Emergent/Postmodern

Indeed so. But it's a test for adherence to branches of only Christian
theology, not theology of all religions.

What was likely picked up is that you place value on tradition, dont
mind a bit of ritual and pomp and ceremony.
