trying hard to stimulate concern among the public, but in most surveys

Redbaiter - hmmm. I=3Fm afraid I=3Fve never been a fan of pseudonyms - and
the one you=3Fve chosen is entirely inappropriate for this blog.
To =3FRedbait=3F is usually defined as =3Fto accuse, denounce, or attack (a
person, for example) as a Communist or a Communist sympathizer=3F.
Now if you had read my introductory blog at all carefully, you would
have understood that the whole premise of redbaiting - that it is
somehow morally legitimate to attack a person on the grounds that their
political beliefs differ from your own - runs directly counter to what I
am trying to achieve.
Not only is redbaiting fundamentally anti-democratic, but it is also
potentially very dangerous - just think about those other kinds of
baiting: jewbaiting, racebaiting; and the misery they have caused.
So, here=3Fs what I=3Fm going to do. I=3Fm going to ask Bryan, the site
administrator, to moderate you out of the dialogue this blog is trying
to encourage.

Interesting, there are various people who used to post here but have
