Hi everyone,
We're holding a group discussion tomorrow on the topic "What skills
are needed for next internet ?" I'll be asking questions to the panel
and I thought I'd ask the NZ 2.0 group if there any questions that
you would like to ask.
Let me know if you have any good questions, and I'll ask our panel on
your behalf.
Panel:
Mr GeekZone - Mauricio Freitas
Mr Web 2.0 - Richard MacManus
Mr NZ Computer Society - Paul Matthews
Mr Digital Development Council - Paul Alexander
BTW It's a free event, rsvp if you want to come along or check out
the video after the event at bliptv - http://summerofcode.blip.tv/
Background
The discussion is a primer for the SoC students and companies on what
will be important skills in the future. The NZ Summer of Code is the
top ICT internship programme in NZ and its goal is to accelerate the
development of ICT students. So we're looking for what skills are
going to be important in the future. eg. What's the hottest ticket in
the next 3-4 years? Web, Rails, Mobile, Cloud computing ??? We'll be
asking our panel for the inside scoop on what's going to important
for the next internet.
Help us decide !
