There's no required cutoff, so 7 is fine with me! (7-9 then?) I'll be here so showing up early is fine too.

Feel free to bring SC questions or things you want to show - we've got a projector and speakers. My thing to show will probably be the new-ish Yamaha DX7 emulator that someone wrote in SC. I spent a while porting it to another language (Haskell), so I've got a fair understanding of how it works (as well as a few questions about how it works!)

if anybody's been messing around with pitchclass matrix manipulations, I have something I'm starting up on that could use some insights, maybe we can spend a bit of time on that topic (using either routines or even better, patterns, to navigate through different parts of a standard 12x12 matrix.

1. confirming the booking of the space
   
2. Any equipment - is there a way of projecting a laptop? 
   
3. Is there an amp to plug into? Can someone bring one?
   
4. Do we have/need an agenda?

I can definitely go over the basics of pitchclass/matrices if necessary, my goal is to figure out how to intuitively navigate 'pachinko-style' through a matrix and derive melodic fragments out of it.

How has it worked in the past? It looks like about 6 people, so we can cluster around our laptops if necessary, but it might be helpful to have some way of projecting a screen, and amplifying output.

Tom can better address that, we have projection (hdmi input I think), and a sort-of audio system (actually, that may be why the sound was so weak last time, maybe we need to figure out how to lock in the 3/8" plug instead of hdmi, maybe it was trying to use both)
