Is there such a place in ny where people can use as a workshop rather than building projects in the home if there is limited space?

Are there any work station to build projects in ny? Sometimes, building in the home can be frustrating if your space at home is limited. There must be a place to go to in ny.

3rd Ward in Willamsburg is probably the best known public workspace --
you can pay to get access to machine and shop tools.
