I know this is a long shot, but hopefully some one has done a project similar and can help me with an issue.

I am using an arduino uno to drive easy drivers which are connected to stepper motors. I can get the motor to spin with the stock stepper motor "ardunio programs", but when trying and using the easy driver I have no response. I have tried every thing from testing connections, replacing parts, but still no motion

I was following this tutorial, http://danthompsonsblog.blogspot.com/2010/05/easydriver-42-tutorial.html , but have had no luck what so ever!

Are you sending step pulses to the board?  Check with a scope, logic probe or a meter.  Also check the state of /enable.  It should be low.  /Sleep should be high.  Also check current adjust.  Start with max just for a test & then bring it down as appropriate.  I am familiar with similar Pololu boards.

I have had very good luck with the Easy Stepper.  Do you have a good photo of your circuit you can post?

I followed that tutorial and it worked.

The easy drivers have a little pot to adjust power. Did you do that? Some of the pots are reversed (despite how they're marked).

I had followed the tutorial exactly to make it work. I think I might
have blown out my uno as I had set up a seperate power supply with
1amp to the easy driver, which was still connected to the arduino
which I think blew it out. I tried changing the pot a bit but not all
the way, I will try that. I am using a mercury stepper from spark
fun....so frustrating.

Thanks for the help so far!
