Arduino needs volunteers to help in the Arduino booth at Maker Faire

Want to go to Maker Faire but can't afford the entry ticket?

Can afford the ticket, but you know you'll have more fun if you're
involved and not just a spectator?

Waited until the last minute and now all the crews are full?


Arduino is looking for a few volunteers for our hands-on activity tables
at Maker Faire.

We need volunteers who can stand at the booth, demonstrate, and answer
questions like:

"What is Arduino? What can I do with it?"
"How does it work?"
"What's new from Arduino?"
"Can I get Massimo Banzi's autograph?"
"Why doesn't my board work?"

Must be able to walk a complete novice through the process of uploading
a sketch to an Arduino, show a novice how to make simple code changes,
and how to use a solderless breadboard with simple sensors (perhaps only
light sensor) and actuators (perhaps only LEDs).

Have a cool Arduino project to show off? You are welcome to bring it.

In exchange for 4 hours of volunteering, you get free admission to the
event the rest of the day you work. You'll also get a limited edition
Arduino Maker Faire NY 2012 T-shirt, and a surprise Arduino model from
Massimo's bag of goodies.
