this sunday from 5 to 6:30 PM I will be teaching a class on using the
TLC5940.

This thursday at craft night people who bought TLC's can pick them up. I
already disseminated the RGB LEDs so now put them together and make
something cool!

You will need a breadboard and patch cables, I am currently putting in an
order for a few, so if you need let me know and I can order a set for you
and you can paypal me the cost.

Also, if you want to buy a set of 3 TLCs and 16 RGB LEDs I can work
something out on a limited basis.

Even if you don't have the materials, but just want to learn to make an
LED blink with the arduino, I will try and help you out.

The class is 20 bucks to pay resistor for the space.

Hi... In the spirit of new teaching technology....

Is this a class someone could attend remotely?

Or will there be hand-outs, guides that someone could review?

I can handle this like we handle training at work, if you pay the fee and
want to participate remotely then I will host a webex and open a
conference bridge and you can follow along remotely. I can even take pics
as we go along and share in the webex.

Hey, that sounds great... I'll do that... Should I email your address  (dr...@stonedcoder.org) for more instructions?

We of the Oak Ridge Resistors would really appreciate this "distance
learning" opportunity as well. If there is someday we could
reciprocate or compensate we would hope to do that one day as well.
Best regards

Yes absolutely, this may be a good profit stream for resistor, remote
participants.

Feel free to register for the class, and I will use either webex or an
equivalent technology (I have something at work that works on linux if
there is enough demand) to deliver as best I can the training remotely.
