Am planning to take interstateBus to NYC, want to travel city bus
and/or subway to get to the Metropolitan Museum in early May.
What is the cost now for NYcity buses? the subway ?
What is cost for a transfer-pass - from bus to bus ?
- from Subway to bus? (is there such) ?
Approximately how often does #1 bus run in midday, midweek ?
What is most time-effecient bus/subway connection to get from PAuth.Bus
Terminal (on 8Ave.) to the Met.Museum ? (without having to walk the 3
looong blocks from Lexington subw.) :)
Also, How long does it take using #1 Bus to get from 80th to 14th St
starting ~1:30PM ? (want to reach 2Ave near 8St.) How often does bus
on 14thSt run ?
Which subway &/or bus connections would be a better choice ?
Many Thanks for your time and info. Please email me (or at least "cc"
to me) with your reply.

Your coming to early, transfer from bus to subway will be available in
July, transfer between 2 busses is free.

Pick up a timetable on the bus, call the MTA at (718)330-1234 or go to
their website at http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us. there is no 1 bus there is a
prefix that goes by borough: M=Manhattan Q=Queens B=Brooklyn Bx=Bronx
S=Staten Island X=Interborough Express
