Margeret Sanger, the founder of what would become Planned Parenthood
wrote of her goals and those of Eugenics that they both, "assist the
race toward the elimination of the unfit."

She opened her first abortion clinic in a black neighborhood of
Brownsville in Brooklyn.

The sprit of Sanger lives on among abortionists:

"I as a tax payer don't wish to pay for those babies to be born and
brought up and kill those people in Colorado... Let me see one of you
adopt one of those ugly black babies."

Eugenics was popular among all political groups before WWII.

Ah, yes, Dr. Ron Virmani - racist doctor from India who was suspended from
The Presbyterian Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital Matthews for
malpractice. When you read his writings, he sounds entirely Tea Party.

That's not working this time around.
Christians may not like democrat support of abortion, but they hate racist
republicans who shoot up theaters, parking lots and temples.

Steven Horwitz and Art Carden presented a great article in the Freeman
this month titled Eugenics: Progressivism's Ultimate Social Engineering,
which is something I find very fascinating, as it is often a neglected
part of America's history, and perhaps this is very intentional. It
reminds me of intentions and how different they may be between, say, the
progressives in the progressive era and progressives today (or are
they?), yet how they have similar outcomes. Minimum wage laws are just
one prime example where progressive eugenic advocates used laws
enforced by government to indirectly exclude “the unemployable” or
“low-wage races” from gaining employment. Back then, Fabian socialists
and progressives acknowledged the consequences of greater unemployment
with minimum wage laws but, as Sidney and Beatrice Webb put it, "this
unemployment is not a mark of social disease, but actually of social
health."

It should be clear that for supporters of individual liberty and reduced
government (or anti-Statist), Eugenics would not be possible. A
government is the only institution that can be used to create and
enforce eugenic policies. Here is where America--and much of the world--
transforms from laissez-fair to Collectivism.

Social Darwinism- Two Very Different Realities.

Thomas C. Leonard in Mistaking Eugenics for Social Darwinism: Why
Eugenics is Missing from the History of American Economics writes:
“Social Darwinism” is not understood as a description of Darwin’s ideas
applied to society. It has devolved into an omnibus term of abuse,
encompassing the full catalog of capitalist ideologies the progressives
are seen to have opposed. In the United States, “social Darwinism”
connotes the use of vaguely Darwinian ideas—as reduced to stock phrases
such as “survival of the fittest” and the “struggle for existence”—to
explain and justify a brutish laissez-faire capitalism of
late-nineteenthcentury America, and nearly always applies to
laissez-faire scholars seen to oppose progressive-minded reform.
Darwinian Individualism

Social Darwinism owes much of its currency to Richard Hofstadter, and
had been most frequently used as a pejorative against classical
liberalism or laissez-faire capitalism. Herbert Spencer is known for
coining the concept of "survival of the fittest" but his work predated
Darwin and he did not fit the "Social Darwinist" type as commonly
understood, i.e., he opposed the justification for war and imperialism.
Laissez-faire could hardly be consistent the idea of State control of
human breeding, yet social Darwinism is still attributed to the
philosophy. Here we start to see the nascence of another type of Social
Darwinism.

Survival of the Unfit

Progressives had an underside that included scientific racism, eugenics
and imperialism. Progressives viewed laissez-faire as a policy of
promoting the 'unfit' to breed while the so-called 'fit' would be
dwarfed in size over time because they tended to repopulate at lower
levels. Eugenics policies needed to be adopted by the government in
order to close the door to the unfit breeds of humans so that the
"superior races" can survive and thrive. Progressive Era reformers
drawn to eugenics believed that some human groups were inferior to
others, and that evolutionary science explained and justified their
theories of human hierarchy. This was a radical departure from the
laissez-fair principle, but this became the other, more dominant,
version of Social Darwinism. Richard Hofstadter developed a name for
it: “Darwinian collectivism.”

Darwinian Collectivism

Eugenics advocated planned state control of human breeding. It was
thought of as a method of population control, which could weed out the
'unfit' from society. Herbert Croly, founder of the magazine, The New
Republic, was a proponent of Eugenics. For instance, he wrote an
unsigned editorial in 1916 which tried to make peace between the
eliminationists and sterilizers on the one hand and the
uplift-the-downtrodden eugenists on the other. The common ground, TNR
argued, was to be found in socialism:

We may suggest that a socialized policy of population cannot be built
upon a laissez faire economic policy. So long as the state neglects its
good blood, it will let its bad blood alone. There is no certain way of
distinguishing between defectiveness in the strain and defectiveness
produced by malnutrition, neglected lesions originally curable, or
overwork in childhood. When the state assumes the duty of giving a fair
opportunity for development to every child, it will find unanimous
support for a policy of extinction of stocks incapable of profiting from
their privileges.

Leo Lucassen of Leiden University in the Netherlands, writes in a
journal, A Brave New World: The Left, Social Engineering, and Eugenics
in Twentieth-Century Europe, "Today, there would seem to be a large
degree of consensus regarding the relationship between eugenics and the
progressive movement, certainly in the first half of the twentieth
century, as Paul Crook remarked in his recent book on Social Darwinism:
‘‘In fact if you examine the rhetoric of eugenic science you find that it
actually best fitted in with contemporary ‘progressivist’ language that
celebrated social engineering and meritocracy, professionalism and the
dominance of experts."

We can fairly say that the dominant form of "Social Darwinism" in the
late 19th and 20th century was that of Darwinian Collectivism.

It doesn't matter what she thought. The only thing that matters is if
a woman wants to use birth control or have an abortion. G-d gave the

That's not what the bible says.
In judeo-christian culture, the wife's relationship to the husband is the
same as a man's relationship to God.

See, in Christianity, it's not a woman's place to even attend church.
That's just a recent practice by some heathens who bastardize the faith.
According to biblical law, a if a woman wants something, she doesn't pray to
god.
That's for man to do.
In Christianity, she must pray to her husband, as her husband prays to god.
And if he should choose to smite her for asking, she should accept it gladly
and for His glory.
And if she should raise a hand in defense, it would be like a man trying to
fight off GOD's wrath.

That's what God gave woman.

Another bad jobs report, so it’s time to demagogue Mitt Romney’s tax
returns, or so President Barack Obama’s campaign and his supporters
believe. Their hope is that Americans care more about how much taxes
Romney paid than they do about their own economic well-being after
nearly four years of his failed economic policies. Such is the contempt
the Obama camp holds for the voters.

That attitude is equaled by a contempt for the notion of truth and fair
play. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada took to the Senate
floor to issue a charge from an unnamed source that Romney hadn’t paid
income taxes for 10 years. So outrageous was this smear that even
mainstream media types not known for their love of Republicans and
conservatives, such as CBS veteran Bob Schieffer, likened Reid’s claim
to the notorious Sen. Joe McCarthy and his 1950s destructive lies saying
he had the names of communists in the State Department.

In Reid’s book, re-electing Obama trumps everything, even the
institution he leads.

When Obama abused the recess appointment process to stuff the National
Labor Relations Board with pro-union cronies at a time the Senate wasn’t
actually in recess, you didn’t hear a peep from Reid about the
constitutional prerogatives of the Senate.

When Obama committed the nation to war against Libya without so much as
a nod to the constitutional responsibility of Congress to declare war,
Reid looked the other way.

And by the way, the man who is calling on Romney to release his tax
forms is a politician who made a fortune while in public life and has
never revealed his tax forms in any election in his home of state of Nevada.

Obama jokes about 'shovel-ready projects'

By David Jackson, USA TODAY Updated 2011-06-13 6:07 PM

While meeting with his Jobs and Competitiveness Council today in Durham,
N.C., President Obama cracked wise about one of his administration's
early catchphrases.

Remember "shovel-ready projects."

Those were construction projects in the 2009 stimulus bill that were
supposed to get moving right away -- but jobs council members told Obama
today that some got held up because of elaborate government regulations
and permitting procedures.

"Shovel-ready was not as shovel-ready as we expected," Obama said.

Obama’s publicist used “Born in Kenya” bio until 2007

According to archive.org, a website that caches websites on a regular
basis, the Dystel.com website – the official website for Dystel &
Goderich, Obama’s literary agents – was using the Barack Obama “born in
Kenya” language until April 2007, just two months after then-Senator
Obama declared his campaign for the presidency.

Archive.org shows that the Dystel website used the following biography
for Obama as of April 3, 2007:

BARACK OBAMA is the junior Democratic senator from Illinois and was the
dynamic keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He
was also the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review.
He was born in Kenya to an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance
minister and was raised in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. His first
book, DREAMS FROM MY FATHER: A STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE, has been a
long time New York Times bestseller.

Obama launched his presidential campaign in February 2007.

By April 21, 2007, the Obama bio had been changed to state that Obama
was born in Hawaii:

BARACK OBAMA is the junior Democratic senator from Illinois and was the
dynamic keynote speaker at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He
was also the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review.
He was born in Hawaii to an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance
minister and was raised in Indonesia, Hawaii, and Chicago. His first
book, DREAMS FROM MY FATHER: A STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE, has been a
long time New York Times bestseller.

Obama had already been a national figure for three years, since the
Democratic National Convention in 2004, by the time the biography was
changed; he had been a sitting Senator for over two years.

Nothing - he released 2 years worth, just like McCain.

Why won't Obama release his college transcripts?

http://reason.com/archives/2008/09/05/wayne-allyn-roots-million-doll
Some excerpts from the conversation:

Matt Welch: So tell us what we should know about Barack Obama that we don't?

Wayne Allyn Root: I think the most dangerous thing you should know about
Barack Obama is that I don't know a single person at Columbia that knows
him, and they all know me. I don't have a classmate who ever knew Barack
Obama at Columbia. Ever!

http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/obama%e2%80%99s-college-classmate-the-obama-scandal-is-at-columbia/

I am President Obama’s classmate at Columbia University, Class of ’83. I
am also one of the most accurate Las Vegas oddsmakers and
prognosticators. Accurate enough that I was awarded my own star on the
Las Vegas Walk of Stars. And I smell something rotten in Denmark. Obama
has a big skeleton in his closet. It’s his college records. Call it “gut
instinct” but my gut is almost always right. Obama has a secret hidden
at Columbia- and it’s a bad one that threatens to bring down his
presidency. Gut instinct is how I’ve made my living for 29 years since
graduating Columbia.

Obama and his infamous strategist David Axelrod understand how to play
political hardball, the best it’s ever been played. Team Obama has
decided to distract America’s voters by condemning Mitt Romney for not
releasing enough years of his tax returns. It’s the perfect cover. Obama
knows the best defense is a bold offense. Just keep attacking Mitt and
blaming him for secrecy and evasion, while accusing him of having a
scandal that doesn’t exist. Then ask followers like Senator Harry Reid
to chase the lead. The U.S. Senate Majority Leader appears to now be
making up stories out of thin air, about tax returns he knows nothing
about. It’s a cynical, brilliant, and vicious strategy. Make Romney
defend, so he can’t attack the real Obama scandal.

This is classic Axelrod. Obama has won several elections in his career
by slandering his opponents and leaking sealed documents. Not only do
these insinuations and leaks ruin the credibility and reputation of
Obama’s opponents, they keep them on the defensive and off Obama’s trail
of sealed documents.

By attacking Romney’s tax records, Obama’s socialist cabal creates a
problem that doesn’t exist. Is the U.S. Senate Majority Leader making up
stories out of thin air? You decide. But the reason for this baseless
attack is clear- make Romney defend, so not only is he “off message” but
it helps the media ignore the real Obama scandal.

My answer for Romney? Call Obama’s bluff.

Romney should call a press conference and issue a challenge in front of
the nation. He should agree to release more of his tax returns, only if
Obama unseals his college records. Simple and straight-forward. Mitt
should ask “What could possibly be so embarrassing in your college
records from 29 years ago that you are afraid to let America’s voters
see? If it’s THAT bad, maybe it’s something the voters ought to see.”
Suddenly the tables are turned. Now Obama is on the defensive.

My bet is that Obama will never unseal his records because they contain
information that could destroy his chances for re-election. Once this
challenge is made public, my prediction is you’ll never hear about
Mitt’s tax returns ever again.

Why are the college records, of a 51-year-old President of the United
States, so important to keep secret? I think I know the answer.

If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia
University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia
University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and
Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at
Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political
Science majors. But not Obama (or as he was known then- Barry Soetoro).
I never met him. Never saw him. Never even heard of him. And none of the
classmates that I knew at Columbia have ever met him, saw him, or heard
of him.

But don’t take my word for it. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2008
that Fox News randomly called 400 of our Columbia classmates and never
found one who had ever met Obama.

Now all of this mystery could be easily and instantly dismissed if Obama
released his Columbia transcripts to the media. But even after serving
as President for 3 1/2 years he refuses to unseal his college records.
Shouldn’t the media be as relentless in pursuit of Obama’s records as
Romney’s? Shouldn’t they be digging into Obama’s past–beyond what he has
written about himself–with the same boundless enthusiasm as Mitt’s?

The first question I’d ask is, if you had great grades, why would you
seal your records? So let’s assume Obama got poor grades. Why not
release the records? He’s president of the free world, for gosh sakes.
He’s commander-in-chief of the U.S. military. Who’d care about some poor
grades from three decades ago, right? So then what’s the problem?
Doesn’t that make the media suspicious? Something doesn’t add up.

Secondly, if he had poor grades at Occidental, how did he get admitted
to an Ivy League university in the first place? And if his grades at
Columbia were awful, how’d he ever get into Harvard Law School? So again
those grades must have been great, right? So why spend millions to keep
them sealed?

Third, how did Obama pay for all these fancy schools without coming from
a wealthy background? If he had student loans or scholarships, would he
not have to maintain good grades?

I can only think of one answer that would explain this mystery.

Here’s my gut belief: Obama got a leg up by being admitted to both
Occidental and Columbia as a foreign exchange student. He was raised as
a young boy in Indonesia. But did his mother ever change him back to a
U.S. citizen? When he returned to live with his grandparents in Hawaii
or as he neared college-age preparing to apply to schools, did he ever
change his citizenship back? I’m betting not.

If you could unseal Obama’s Columbia University records I believe you’d
find that:

A) He rarely ever attended class.

B) His grades were not those typical of what we understand it takes to
get into Harvard Law School.

C) He attended Columbia as a foreign exchange student.

D) He paid little for either undergraduate college or Harvard Law
School because of foreign aid and scholarships given to a poor foreign
students like this kid Barry Soetoro from Indonesia.

If you think I’m “fishing” then prove me wrong. Open up your records Mr.
President. What are you afraid of?

If it’s okay for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to go on a
fishing expedition about Romney’s taxes (even though he knows absolutely
nothing about them nor will release his own), then I think I can do the
same thing. But as Obama’s Columbia Class of ’83 classmate, at least I
have more standing to make educated guesses.

It’s time for Mitt to go on the attack and call Obama’s bluff.

That's hypocrisy.

Oh, wait... This is something *YOU LIKE*.

> Quit blaming your racism on everybody else.

I'll do you a favor and tell you why you life is so miserable.

1) You're a racist.
2) You hate that about yourself and spend a lot of energy trying to
project that upon everyone else
3) It is easier for you to cling to your distorted world view than it
is to change. Unfortunately your enablers like you where you are.

Not many people can function with this kind of terrible incongruity in
their life.

I don't believe it is mentally possible for you to abandon your racist
ideals. However, you can achieve some harmony in you life if you
stopped with the self-loathing, took some pride in yourself and joined
the Skinheads.

There is an awful, terrible, logical symmetry to that observation.

But I'm afraid if he did go skinhead the guns and violence would surely
follow.

You see Bucky is a follower, not a leader, and people in those groups
are proven motivators, they seek out and groom and use the weak minded
for their evil ends.

I'm deeply concerned he would try to live up to someone's idealized
'skin' model and do something society would regret.

His stability is just so tenuous, so on the verge of...well...who knows...

Barack Obama- The Big Spender

By Susan Duclos

When MarketWatch writer Rex Nutting wrote an article titled "Obama
spending binge never happened," liberals jumped all over it as proof
that Obama was not a big spender. White House spokeman Jay Carney also
encouraged people to "check it out" and Washington Post's The Fact
Checker decided to do just that.

In the post-war era, federal spending as a percentage of the U.S.
economy has hovered around 20 percent, give or take a couple of
percentage points. Under Obama, it has hit highs not seen since the end
of World War II — completely the opposite of the point asserted by Carney.

In fact, that fact checking piece gave Carney three Pinocchios.

The correct figure to use is the CBO’s analysis of the president’s 2013
budget, which clocks in at $3.72 trillion.

So this is what we end up with:

2008: $2.98 trillion
2009: $3.27 trillion
2010: $3.46 trillion
2011: $3.60 trillion
2012: $3.65 trillion
2013: $3.72 trillion

Under these figures, and using this calculator, with 2008 as the base
year and ending with 2012, the compound annual growth rate for Obama’s
spending starting in 2009 is 5.2 percent. Starting in 2010 — Nutting’s
first year — and ending with 2013, the annual growth rate is 3.3
percent. (Nutting had calculated the result as 1.4 percent.)

Of course, it takes two to tangle — a president and a Congress. Obama’s
numbers get even higher if you look at what he proposed to spend, using
CBO’s estimates of his budgets:

2012: $3.71 trillion (versus $3.65 trillion enacted)
2011: $3.80 trillion (versus $3.60 trillion enacted)
2010: $3.67 trillion (versus $3.46 trillion enacted)

So in every case, the president wanted to spend more money than he
ended up getting. Nutting suggests that federal spending flattened under
Obama, but another way to look at it is that it flattened at a much
higher, post-emergency level — thanks in part to the efforts of
lawmakers, not Obama.

The bottom line:

Carney suggested the media were guilty of “sloth and laziness,” but he
might do better next time than cite an article he plucked off the Web,
no matter how much it might advance his political interests. The data in
the article are flawed, and the analysis lacks context — context that
could easily could be found in the budget documents released by the
White House.

The White House might have a case that some of the rhetoric concerning
Obama’s spending patterns has been overblown, but the spokesman should
do a better job of checking his facts before accusing reporters of
failing to do so. The picture is not as rosy as he portrayed it when
accurate numbers, taken in context, are used.

H/T Hot Air.

A little hint for Carney, liberals and the Obama reelection campaign
team. When encouraging people to check things out and research the
facts, expect that someone might just do so.

[Update] Wapo's The Fact Checker is not the only one that has done the
due diligence that liberals and Carney did not bother doing on the
MarketWatch article.

The AP Fact Check finds "Obama off on Thrifty Spending Claim."

Side note- Let us not forget that now Obama wants to spend another $447
billion on a Stimulus 2.
