Description:   Genesis10 is actively seeking a Level 2 Production Support Analyst for a 6-12 month contract position with a Top Tier Investment Bank in New York City.          Description     The role holder will work as part of a team to deliver a second level technical application support function incorporating the ownership, analysis and resolution of Service Incidents and problems. Participation in additional activities related to the applications under support will be required, including but not restricted to, Service Acceptance, Operational Acceptance Testing, Release coordination, System Analysis, BCM and Infrastructure Management.          The role holder must ensure all live applications are fully supported and meet the Service Level requirements for the supported service area and all new change is effectively managed under controlled Service Acceptance measurement, change control and sign off for area of responsibility.  2nd line application support will manage and deliver applications support for internally sourced or 3rd party hosted services.                 The candidate will possess relevant Application Support experience and a proven track record in a senior 2nd line support role, preferably within the financial services industry.   Candidates will be experienced in supporting applications in a global environment and familiar with ITIL concepts and best practices.              A support orientated approach is required, with the ability to investigate, analyze and resolve application issues. The candidate will be responsible for incident resolution and must therefore be comfortable in working alongside 2nd Line Infrastructure teams and 3rd party vendors as part of the day to day Service Support activities. The Candidate must have strong analytical and investigation skills with an ability to resolve issues in a high-pressure and time critical environment.  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also a key requirement.            Requirements

                        5 + years of working experience with operating systems: Linux, Solaris, and windows                     3 + years of experience with Shell scripting, Perl scripting and windows scripting                      3 + years of experience with messaging technologies                     2 + years of experience with Web server development                     2 + years of experience with XML                        2 + years of experience with Tibco AMX,Tibco business works, and Tibco EMS.                     2 + years of experience in writing advance SQL queries.                         2 + years of experience with SOAP messaging                     Good understanding of Database management.                      Great communication and writing skills
