Description:   North Jersey based Direct Marketing Company seeks a seasoned Direct Mail professional to join our Client Services team.  This candidate will support services including: multi-channel, direct mail, print, product fulfillment, and data services. The candidate will develop and interpret customer specifications for designated projects and coordinate/monitor all aspects of print and multi-channel projects.

As the primary point of contact for our clients, the Candidate will be responsible for the set up of clients' Direct Mail and Marketing programs and coordinate project from inception through mailing or deployment working closely with Operations and Sales to ensure client expectations are met and all issues are addressed.  Candidate will work collaboratively with internal production staff including Programming/Applications Development, Data Processing, Print, and Lettershop / Mail Fulfillment regarding job specifications, job status and estimates.

Candidate will:

*       Have a grasp of client programs and have sufficient technical aptitude to prepare specs and instructions for various production departments

*       Have in-depth knowledge of the lettershop production process and Postal regulations and good working knowledge of the company's capabilities.

*       Utilize sound judgment to address challenges that may impact client expectations

*       Lead internal teams in proactive and effective communications and problem resolution

*       Work with Sales and Operations teams in a variety of functions, such as process design, scope of services, and program execution.

*       Display ability to handle accounts independently, handle client meetings, questions, etc.

*       Develop key client contacts and relationships for continued business development

Skills/Qualifications:

Prior Direct Mail or Print production experience /experience working directly with Clients and/or Ad agencies. Experience with pharmaceutical clients and PDMA compliance a plus.

Must be a strong communicator; internal and external, written and verbal.  

Skillful problem solving and an analytical approach, ability to read and interpret reports

Excellent planning and organization skills, attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and clients at any one time in a fast-paced, demanding role

Ability to maintain customer relationship while maximizing the use of internal resources

College degree or equivalent experience in the Direct Mail industry, 3-5 years of Client Service experience preferred.  

Technical skills:

Microsoft Office 2000/XP, MS Word, Excel and Outlook, Mail Shop experience a plus.
