A leader in the IT Asset Value Recovery field, our client is seeking a
Marketing Manager to lead and take responsibility for every aspect of
Brand Messaging and Marketing Initiatives. You will be responsible
for supporting sales growth for both our inbound and outbound sides of
our business. On the inbound side, the B2B marketing activities are
targeted primarily to large corporations, government agencies and IT
service providers. On the outbound side, the company seeks to gain
resellers and support them as they remarket our finished product to
both consumer and business buyers. Successful execution will require
organization and analysis skills combined with an ability to work
cross-functionally by setting clear objectives and establishing
effective lines of communication with internal Teams, Clients,
Prospects and Strategic Partners.
Responsibilities:
* Create and execute on our Marketing Roadmap to ensure that
communications are consistent, steady, frequent and timely through a
variety of online and offline channels
* Oversee Search Engine Optimization to ensure that we are
maximizing our organic and paid rankings per our Roadmap
* Enhance and Maintain our Prospect & Client Database
* Track, improve and report on the critical marketing data tied to
sales
* Research and craft a Key Industry Events Calendar
* Establish and grow strong relationship between marketing and
sales teams
* Oversee and maintain accuracy in every marketing area, including
our company website, news site, and collateral
* Clearly defining job expectations for a small staff, external PR
providers, freelancers, and part-time support personnel
Requirements:
* 5-7 years of integrated marketing experience, showing career
progression in each role
* Extensive experience driving content and tactical strategy in a
B2B environment, including email marketing, direct mail, e-marketing,
trade shows, PR and some advertising
* A track record of making things happen in a small to mid-sized
company
* Proven proficiency in creating project schedules, setting
deadlines, and maintaining a substantial marketing activities calendar
* Entrepreneurial environment experience is very helpful
* BA degree in marketing, communications or business; or related
experience
* Experience on both client and agency account management side
