Description: NO 3RD PARTIES OR AGENCIES, PLEASE Type: Right to Hire (Contract for 3 months then right to hire) Location: New York City (midtown) Start date: Approx June 16, 2008 Job Qualifications: · 5 + years of experience creating functional requirements and system design documents that provide logical and creative solutions to complex problems. · 3+years PeopleSoft 8.x experience (v. 8.8 is plus) with HR, Benefits Administration · Work well and communicate with the project manager, other business analysts, and technical support staff. · Clearly document and explain problems and to work with others to resolve software defects while ensuring technical compatibility and end user satisfaction. · Ability to work in a functional technical capacity. · Good understanding of business processes, relational databases and table structure. · Support special business events such as annual activities. · Ability to plan, manage time according to schedules, and provide status updates required. · Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required. · Experience using Excel, Word, and MS Access preferred. · Experience working in an IBM mainframe COBOL/DB2/IMS environment a plus as well as knowledge of payroll and/or pension. · 2+ years experience on PeopleSoft tools including: Query Reporting Tool and Application Designer. SQL is a plus. Education:
A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
