Description: Our client is a leader in the Investment Banking industry. Requirements:
Senior analyst/developer to create and maintain software that collects data from internal sources through various communication protocols, process and stage it in an internal kdb database, and republish it through pub/sub mechanisms to front-end applications. Code will be all in C++ with possible use of scripting (sh/perl/etc) for automation and testing.

Skills:
* C++ coding in a Linux/Unix environment with standard gnu tools
* Network programming/interprocess communications including TCP/UDP/multicast. Familiarity with pub/sub systems such as tibco/randevous a plus
* Database design, familiarity with SQL, familiarity with kx/kdb products a BIG plus
