Gothic Art contest - deadline in ten days

will be used as the front art for the official "Dark Harvest: A Night of
Gothic Revelry" T-shirt. The winner will receive two Dark Harvest
T-shirts, two free tickets to the show, a business-card ad in the Dark
Harvest programme to advertise their work, and two free CDs. The winning
entry, along with the two runners-up, will also be reproduced in the Dark
Harvest programme for all to see.
Requirements for art:
1) Black and white/grayscale art only. No color, please.
2) Any medium is acceptable - photo, charcoal, ink, etc.
3) The size of the finished piece may not exceed 15" W x 14" H
4) Preference will be given to artwork that fits the theme of the event.
Entrants should avoid presenting themes of an extremely graphic sexual or
violent nature. Tasteful nudity is fine.
5) Concrete, realistic pieces are preferred to abstract or impressionistic
work.
How to submit (taken from the alt.sex.bondage FAQ - just kidding)
1) Via Email: Send a scan of the image in .GIF or .JPG format to
PostM...@aol.com. Do *not* send artwork to the Dancing Ferret address.
2) Via US Mail: Send a photocopy of the work (which will not be returned)
to Dancing Ferret Concerts, 4939 Catharine St., Philadelphia PA
19143-2007.
3) Via FAX: Send email for information on how to submit via FAX. Not
recommended but can be done.
Other stuff
1) All entries must be received by 6pm on Monday, October 2nd, ten days
from now.
2) In the event that insufficient entries are received to generate a
satisfactory pool from which to draw, one winner will be selected to
receive a free business card ad in the Dark Harvest programme, and DFC
will choose a local artist to design the T-shirt.
3) Winner's prizes are non-transferable. Winner need not attend Dark
Harvest to claim prizes.
4) Judges' decision is final. Void where prohibited.
