Guest speaker: Jeffrey Posnick on YouTube Direct

Robert Hancock on Data Liberation and the Google Data APIs. You'll see
an application that downloads a large base of Tweets, applies a naive
Bayesian classification, queries Google Books, and then writes the
results to Google Docs.

Dario Laverde will speak on the latest developments in Android
including how to build from source the AOSP (Android Open Source
Project).

And we're open to lightning talks from any member on any Google
Technology related topic - bring a couple of slides, or a coding
issue, or make an announcement. Q&A and WiFi.

A special thanks to Sun Microsystems for the location and special
thanks to Google for providing the refreshments for this meeting!

see you there,
Dario

Is it just an accident that you guys tend to schedule similar nights as NYC-python?

For someone interested in both Google and Python technologies, this is painfully inconvenient!

Cheers,
Andrey

It has to do with availability of venues.  You deal with what is available.  Sun has been kind enough to give us the second Tuesday of every month.  I voted for this specifically knowing it would not conflict with the Python meeting.

NYC Python is usually the third Tuesday of every month, but this month they are combining with Django NYC, hence the conflict.
