Description:
As the Social Worker you will:

- Provide casework contact and visits as clinically indicated, and as per agency and ACS guidelines
- Make and monitor referrals that will assist the child and family to best meet their needs, address treatment goals, and requirements of ACS and the courts
- Attend court hearings for the assigned cases as required
- Assist foster parents in understanding and meeting the needs of children in their care
- Attend agency and community meetings for assigned cases as need to support the treatment plans
- Provide aftercare services to families on trial discharge
- Assure compliance of foster parents with certification requirements
- Complete necessary correspondence and documentation for agency, courts, ACS, and referrals in a timely manner
- Maintain child and foster parent files
- Work with adoption coordinator to facilitate timely adoptions
- Facilitate a group for program clients
- Provide individual therapy
- Provide MAPP training
- Write a minimum of two home studies yearly
- Assume backup coverage as assigned

Required Skills:
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Foster care experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work
